Advice for Marketing Newbies

Advice for Internet Marketing Newbies

First Off, Don’t believe everything you read. There are so many websites out
there saying “Make a million dollars this week,” “Join our
Program and Retire This Year.” When you’re reading their sales page and
they ask for your email address, your name and the best time to call; do not
give them that information or you will be bombarded with email from everybody
and anybody. They sell that information and you are now considered a
“Lead.” I’m not saying that everyone out there is a bad guy; I’m just
saying “If it sounds to good to be true, it probably is.”

Internet Marketing is a really great way to make money online, but No, you
will not get rich overnight. You don’t need a website or a domain name to make
money working from home. It’s nice to have; but when you are first starting off
in “Internet Marketing” you should wait until you have money to
invest. If you have a talent such as grant writing, medical transcriptions,
resume writer, etc. then yes, you should get a website. There are plenty of
sites out there that will let you get a free website. Here are a few, http://freewebs.com
, http://www.bravenet.com and http://www.freeservers.com
.You don’t have to know html with these ones; you just point and click and your
done. If you don’t have a specific talent or a product to sale, then you would
probably be better off to join an affiliate Program.

An affiliate program gives you the opportunity to sell their products and you
make a commission on what you sale. What do YOU want to sale? Food and Drinks,
Games and Toys, Home and Garden, or Business related things. Just make sure they
offer you at least 25% or more commission. Some affiliate programs such as: www.cj.com/
and http://www.clickbank.com have
been around for years. Heck if you want to you can even sell Wisconsin Cheese.
Whatever your interest just type affiliate program-?????? in the search box and
I’ll bet they have an affiliate program.

My next piece of advice would be to subscribe to newsletters that are related
to what ever it is you are selling. If you’re selling gardening products then
subscribe to gardening related newsletters. If you’re selling software or
business related products then subscribe to Internet Marketing newsletters. You
can find newsletters to subscribe to at places like these: http://www.jogena.com
, http://www.bellaonline.com and http://www.list-city.com
. Those are just a few ezine directories; type in “free newsletters”
in your search box and you’ll find plenty of newsletters to join. Before you
subscribe to every newsletter out there, be selective and check out their
archives. See if they accept free or paid ads. See if they accept articles. If
they do then you are in luck and should subscribe. Visit the forums and
newsgroups that are related to what you are selling. Include a 2 line ad with
your link when you post and do the same with all your outgoing email.

How to make money online with no investment!

How to Make Money Online with no Investment

Are you an entrepreneur wanting to start a home based business with no
investment? People tell you it takes money to make money; but that’s not always
the case. Follow me through this article and I will show you how and where to
get everything you need to succeed online "Free."

First off you will need to find a product to promote; don’t worry it’s not
hard at all if you follow my advice. What are you passionate about? Passionate
you say; what does that have to do with a home business. Trust me if you are
willing to spend as much time trying to make your business work it should be
something that you are interested in.

For example, let’s say you love golf. One of the first things you need to do
is go here http://www.clickbank.com
and open an account with them. It’s free to join and they have affiliate
programs for just about any subject possible. After you register, log in and go
to Marketplace. Look under the heading "Sports and Recreation" and
search through the many programs they offer.

For instance there is one in there that is named "Instant Golf
Swing." It’s an ebook on how to improve your golf games and they will pay
you 55% commission for every ebook you sale. Not only that, they also have a
newsletter that you can subscribe to that includes tips and tricks to help you
with your golf swing. So now you can not only make $23 for every book you sale
you also get a professional golfers advice.

You’re probably wondering "Who can I sell the ebook too", keep
reading and I’ll tell you. Go here: http://google.com
and type in "newsletters golf" or you can type in ezine directory.
When you find some newsletter that interest you subscribe to them. You can also
find out if they accept free ads, or accept articles. Now if the affiliate
program you joined doesn’t supply you with pre written ads, you can make up your
own. Go back to the sales page (click on your Golf Link) and slowly read through
it. Open up notepad and write some of the great things about this ebook and why
anybody would want to buy it. Just 5 lines are enough for starters.

Consider writing a short golf related article; don’t say you can’t do it.
Just sit down at the computer and pretend you’re telling a friend about the best
time of the day and what day of the week is the best time to play golf. After
you have finished the article and gone over it so it sounds pretty interesting;
you need to put a resource box under the article. A resource box is simply a
brief description of your self. Say something like this "Learn how to swing
like the Professionals with my Instant Golf Swing ebook. Insert your link here.
Now submit the article to an article directory or better yet a lot of
directories

Are You Dressing Down for your Man?

Are you dressing down for your Man?

When your spouse comes home from work what are you wearing? Sweatpants maybe. Is your hair in a ponytail? Do you have lipstick on? You probably are dressing down for him and don’t even realize it.
Think back to when you started dating your spouse. Remember the excitement you felt as you rushed to get all dolled up for him. Did you Spritz on a little cologne, wear nail polish?

There was a comment I heard from a Latino Gal who said that “American women dress for comfort” while Latino women dress to impress their men. That got me thinking that maybe she’s right, because as I’m
writing this article I’m barefoot, wearing stretch pants and a baggy tee shirt. My Hair is in a ponytail and I have no makeup on. And yes, I am comfortable. But, 30 minutes or so before he’s due home; I change into something a tad nicer, do something with my hair, and brush on some mascara.

So are you in the comfort zone too? Most likely you are if you are a stay at home Mom or retired. Just out of curiosity I emailed a group of women friends and asked them a few questions covering this topic

The questions I asked them were:

Do you change out of comfortable clothes into uncomfortable clothes before your spouse gets home?
Is your hair always in a ponytail?
Are your fingernails polished?

It seems the younger and recently married girls did get dressed up before their husbands showed up. And the women that have been married for a longer length of time stayed the way they dressed earlier in the day. No make up, nor nail polish. Hmmm! Maybe the Latino girl is right.

Well Ladies maybe we should take this as a hint and think about dressing up for our man instead of dressing down. Just try it once and see what his response will be; who knows maybe he will think he forgot a dinner date or something! This could be a free ticket to town.
